Squarejig Studio produces original art and offers design, production, and project management of a diverse range of creative projects.

As well as producing our own pieces, we also offer consultation and production services for those within creative industries or individuals looking for assistance with their own projects. From sculptures to theatre sets, the scope of our knowledge is broad.

We work with clients at whichever stage of their project they might need us, from initial outline concept through to production and final installation.

All our work is driven by the love of translating artistic concepts and design ideas into finished pieces.

We enjoy the buzz of creativity and understand the importance of collaboration. We are used to working with an eclectic range of clients on their many and varied projects - and to working within a timescale and budget.

Our projects have involved work for clients including schools, churches, private art collectors and theatre companies.

Squarejig studio was established in rural North Oxfordshire by the artist and designer/maker David Snell FRSA with the aim of putting all his creative skills under one roof. He has always worked in creative industries; a background in making and management in both theatre scenery and bespoke furniture design has led to a deep understanding of materials, construction, aesthetics, budgets and deadlines.

David combines the qualities of unbounded creativity with pragmatic project management.

With forty years of experience, David has developed an innovative problem-solving approach and a large network of skilled associates. Resourcefulness and a broad knowledge of a wide range of making methods gives the studio a solid foundation on which to produce original art and creative projects.
